Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Hardware Hunter ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.

2. What Hardware Hunter Does

Hardware Hunter monitors third-party marketplaces and forums (including Reddit, Slickdeals, eBay, and others) for used/secondhand hardware listings that match your configured hunts. We score listings using AI and send you alerts. We are not a marketplace — we do not facilitate transactions, hold funds, or guarantee any listing is available, accurately described, or legitimate.

3. Your Account

• You must provide a valid email address to register.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
• One account per person. Don't share accounts.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to scrape, resell, or redistribute alert data at scale
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, interfere with, or overload the Service
• Create hunts designed to harvest personal information from listings
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose

5. No Guarantees

Hardware Hunter is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about uptime, alert delivery speed, listing accuracy, or AI scoring quality. Deals move fast — we can't promise you'll catch every one.

We are not responsible for any transaction you make based on our alerts. Always verify listings independently before purchasing.

6. Data We Collect

See our Privacy Policy for full details. In short: we collect your email, hunt configurations, and usage data to operate the Service. We don't sell your data.

7. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. Deletion removes your personal data from our active systems within 30 days.

8. Changes to the Service

We may modify or discontinue the Service at any time. During closed beta, we'll give you at least 7 days notice before any major changes or shutdown. After launch, we'll give at least 30 days notice before discontinuing a paid feature.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hardware Hunter and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
