Create your account, set up your first hunt, and know what happens next — in about three minutes.
Getting a deal caught is a three-step job: make an account, tell us what you're hunting, and let the scanner do the watching. No credit card for the free tier, no setup beyond a few questions.
1. Create your account
Sign up free at hardwarehunter.io/signup. The free tier is a real tier, not a trial:
- Free tier: 3 active hunts, scanned once a day, and a daily email digest of the
best matches (digest delivery is rolling out in stages). No credit card, no end date.
Pro ($5/month) and Lifetime ($75 one-time) add up to 10 or unlimited hunts, 2-hour scans, and instant alerts to Telegram, Discord, Slack, Pushover, or ntfy. Upgrade from your dashboard whenever.
2. Set up a hunt
A hunt is a saved search with a price bar. Use the Hunt Builder and pick a category — Storage, RAM, GPU, CPU, Mac, or Other — then answer a few questions about what you need. The builder only asks what changes which listings are useful.
Two numbers matter more than anything:
- Ceiling is a hard filter. Anything above it never gets scored. Set it at your absolute max.
- Target is your "move fast" line — the price where you'd buy without thinking. Set it low enough that a match feels like a win. (The scorer filters on ceiling, not target; treat the target as your own act-fast reference.)
3. What happens next
- Scans: Free hunts scan every 24 hours; Pro and Lifetime every 2 hours.
- Results: Every match lands in your results feed with a score, a one-line verdict, and the reason. Nothing is silent — SKIP results show why they missed.
- Alerts: Only listings worth acting on get pushed. Free tier gets a daily email digest; paid plans get instant alerts on your connected channels.
That's it. The scanner does the refreshing; you just read the verdicts and act on the ones that clear your bar.
Stop checking manually.
Set up a hunt and get alerted when the right deal hits the right price.
